Description

Twice each year the Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute holds a competition that provides funding to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and clinical research fellows undertaking cancer research at recognized institutions in Atlantic Canada.  A limited number of traineeship awards from various funding sources will be offered to outstanding applicants with an interest in cancer research. Supervisors must be Scientists, Senior Scientists or Associate Members of BHCRI to apply.

To become a CRTP trainee and apply for funding (CRTP Award), Both the Intent to Apply Form and Pilot Program Application must be completed and received by admin@bhcri.ca before the deadline of 4pm AST on 3 March 2023.

If you are already part of the CRTP Pilot Program, please complete the Intent to Apply section only (please review the guidelines for information).

Please note that only trainees who have submitted the CRTP Pilot Program Application and Intent to Apply Form, and are accepted into the Pilot Program, will be eligible to apply for trainee stipends through BHCRI, including CRTP Awards. The Intent to Apply is to provide notification of a forthcoming award application and assists BHCRI in ensuring appropriate expertise on the Scientific Review Panels. It does not determine eligibility.
