Description

This funding opportunity may include terms and conditions that require the inclusion of overhead costs (as per the Indirect Cost of Externally Funded Research Policy).Therefore, if you are intent on applying, we request that you contact the applicable RGCS individual indicated below at least 20 working days prior to the sponsor deadline to notify them of your intent.

Also, please note:

1) Research Grant and Contract Services internal deadline for  Institutional Review for this competition is: noon, September 8, 2017 (10 working days before the sponsor deadline).

2) When submitting an application for Institutional Review, be sure to include the appropriate Approval Form from your Department/Faculty with the application.

The Partnership Program with North America is a program for cooperation in higher education with the United States and Canada. The goal is to increase collaboration and student mobility between Norwegian and North American higher education institutions, as well as enterprises in the public and private sectors.

o Short term cooperation projects:  Project funding up to NOK 300 000 per project over 2 years

Deadline: September 22, 2017

Who may apply? Accredited Norwegian higher education institutions, public and private. The institution may apply together with one or more partner institutions in the eligible countries. The partner institution must be an accredited higher education institution in the US or Canada.

How to apply? Applications must be submitted through SIU’s online application database Espresso. The Norwegian project coordinator must create and submit the application in Espresso.
