Description

International Grenfell Association (IGA) grants are funded through monies raised since the late 1800s by supporters in Canada, the USA, Great Britain, and Ireland. Used initially to pay for programs now provided by government, these funds create a grant program that responds to the needs of coastal communities in Northern Newfoundland and Labrador.

Areas of funding support include healthcare, education, social welfare, recreation, and general lifestyle.

Please be reminded that the IGA has a defined and historical geographic service area. Grant applications will be considered for projects within this area, which is on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador (north of Reef’s Harbour) and Coastal Labrador (excluding the communities of Churchill Falls, Labrador City, and Wabush).

Grant applications will be considered from outside this region only if there is evidence of direct benefit to residents of this defined area.

Additional information can be found at the IGA Website
