Description
Through the Gender Programme, the ACU has been committed to promoting gender equity in higher education for more than 30 years.
As part of this ongoing commitment, the ACU is offering grants to help member institutions organise workshops which advance gender equity.
Suitable workshop topics include: gender mainstreaming in universities, addressing sexual and gender-based harassment and violence on campus, gender considerations in research, women in leadership, and women in science and research.
While developing your workshop proposal, we encourage you to use the training materials and resources available on the ACU website. Alternatively please contact the ACU for advice and support, if required, by email at gender@acu.ac.uk
How to apply
Interested members should complete the online application process by Friday 15 September 2017.
You must be able to show that you are currently employed by a member institution, and should provide the following documentation with your online application:
- A current CV of the organiser and trainer(s)/facilitator(s)
- An outline of the programme
- The estimated costs
- A letter of support from the head of your institution
Before applying, please ensure you read the terms and conditions at the top of the application form in full. Successful applicants will be notified a few weeks after the deadline.
