Description

This directed grant for the Knowledge Development and Exchange Hub for Mental Health Promotion (KDE Hub) builds on the Team Grant: Mental Health in the Early Years (MHITEY) Implementation Science funding opportunity. The grant will support the expansion of the existing child and youth focused mental health promotion KDE Hub to provide dedicated, coordinated and complementary knowledge mobilization, networking and evaluation support to the successful MHITEY Implementation Science Teams.

The KDE Hub was initiated and continues to be funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) through their Mental Health Promotion Innovation Fund (MHP-IF). This directed grant will strategically leverage existing early years mental health–related knowledge mobilization expertise, partnerships, networks and infrastructure; and facilitate greater coherence between government agencies. It will facilitate the integration of evidence into policy and practice, and enhance coordination among the many sectors involved in developing, delivering and implementing early years mental health prevention, promotion, treatment and care.

Any consideration of risk and/or conflict of interest should also be explained, as appropriate.
