Description

In response to the revolutionary potential promised by the integration of autonomous systems into defence and security operations, the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF) are seeking to advance methods to assess, calibrate, and maintain trust in real-time when humans work with autonomous systems.

DND/CAF is seeking innovative solutions to independently assess and calibrate trust for autonomous systems to maintain technological sovereignty and enhance safety, resilience, and collaborative performance.  This challenge aims specifically to support Canada’s NORAD Modernization Plan (Annex C: Canada’s NORAD Modernization Plan).
