Description

The Davis Phinney Foundation is actively seeking to fund research projects that address quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s. Priority will be given to applications that address the unique needs of historically underrepresented and/or underserved populations, and applications that investigate the benefits and effectiveness of innovations designed to help people with Parkinson’s live well. Awards of any amount will be considered, up to a maximum of $150,000 for research purposes. The scientific goals and objectives of the project should be commensurate with the level of support requested and should not overlap with other sources of support.

Past funding has focused on the impact of community cycling classes, deep brain stimulation, speech therapies, and telemedicine. Additional information on previously funded projects can be found on our website: https://www.davisphinneyfoundation.org/research/.

The Foundation will also consider other promising submissions outside of the stated funding priority if the reviewers find the submission to have high potential to promote quality of life for people with Parkinson’s.
