Description
MEOPAR is excited to announce the second iteration of the Early Career Faculty (ECF) program. This Call for Proposals (CFP) will be released at the end of June 2018. We have released the eligibility criteria for the call early so that interested researchers can begin preparing their proposals. We are seeking investigators who are five years into their first academic appointment and within ten years of receiving their PhD. Some exceptions to this timeframe apply.
We are looking to fund innovative research from both natural and social scientists, in areas aligned with MEOPAR’s Strategic Plan. Projects will be funded for two years, beginning in April 2019. These grants are individual, and the maximum grant amount is $100,000.
MEOPAR is partnering with Ocean Networks Canada (ONC) for this call. See our website for eligibility criteria for ONC funding.
