Description
This is a collaboration between the CIHR-Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (CIHR-ICRH), Canadian Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Foundation (CAAIF), AstraZeneca Canada and AllerGen. The goal of this exciting funding opportunity is to support Canadian Allergists, Clinical Immunologists, MD clinician scientists and basic scientists working in translational research to pursue academic research in allergic asthma.
Research Areas
All research proposals received must be relevant to the area of allergic asthma.
Funds Available
- The total amount available for this funding opportunity is $400,000 enough to fund approximately 2 awards. The maximum amount per award is $100,000 per year for up to two (2) years for a total of $200,000 per award.
- Of this $100,000, applicants may request: Salary contribution: up to a maximum of 75% per annum, including fringe benefits; and Research Allowance: a minimum of 25% per annum.
