Description
End Diabetes Awards fund research to enhance our understanding of diabetes and its prevention, treatment, management, and cure. Diabetes Canada accepts research proposals in biomedical, clinical, health services, and/or population health research, to fund the best research towards improving the lives of people living with or at risk of diabetes and its complications.
New in 2024, in response to applicant feedback Diabetes Canada is increasing the funding available per award. Applicants can request up to $150,000 per year for 3 years for a total of $450,000 per grant. Diabetes Canada will award approximately $6 million through the 2024 End Diabetes Awards.
