Description
OBJECTIVES
To create value-added opportunities for the training, education and professional development of graduate students, to ensure continued understanding of causes, mechanisms, improvement of asthma treatments and progress towards finding a cure for asthma.
VALUE OF TRAINING AWARDS
Minimum of two (2) awards for PhD students valued at $30,000 each.
Minimum of two (2) award for MSc students valued at $15,000 each.
Previous recipients of the Award may reapply for a second year of funding although priority will be given to new applicants.
This award cannot normally be held concurrently with other awards or similar support over $10,000/annum. In exceptional cases where a concurrent award in held, the Graduate Student Award will be reduced by the amount equivalent to the concurrent award.
DURATION
The Graduate Student Award is for one year, non-renewable.
