Applications for this opportunity are by invitation only. To be eligible for an invitation an LOI must be submitted.
Harrington Discovery Institute is committed to supporting the work of
physician-scientists. The flagship Harrington Scholar-Innovator program
recognizes physician-scientists whose research has the potential to
advance the standard of care.
Successful applicants will receive:
• $100,000 guaranteed grant award;
• Drug and business development support from Harrington’s
Therapeutics Development advisors;
• Opportunity to compete for acceleration funds up to $300,000;
• Opportunity to qualify for investment funds typically up to $2MM.
Grant term: 2 years
Eligibility: MD or MD/PhD researchers in the U.S. and Canada

- Call Opens for Letters of Intent (LOI) April 10, 2023
- LOI Submission Deadline June 5, 2023
- Full Application Deadline for those Invited August 7, 2023
- Announce 2024 Scholar-Innovators April 2024
