2018-19 Competition – Internal Deadline and Application Procedures

As of September 2017, the USRA program has been decentralized from Research Grant and Contract Services (RGCS), and will now be administered by the individual Academic Units. Please consult with the Academic Unit with which you wish to complete the USRA internship for internal deadlines and application procedures and requirements.

NSERC USRA Program Information

For Students

    • If applicable, copy of documentation verifying Aboriginal Status (For institutional records only – do not upload to online application form)

For Supervisors

    • NSERC Form 202 – Part 2 (supervisor): Must be completed through online system and then printed and submitted to Research Grant and Contract Services (only required by successful applicants)
