Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI) (Belgium – travel to Canada)

  • Other requirements: Participants must be from the French Community of Belgium (Wallonia-Brussels Federation) 
  • Eligible institutions: Université catholique de Louvain, Université libre de Bruxelles, Université de Liège, Université de Mons, Université de Namur, Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles
  • Co-funding: No financial contribution is required from the Canadian university
  • Award amount:  $6,000
  • Duration:  12-24 weeks
  • Application and submission process: The intake for to-Canada GRA is done by WBI.  Applications are submitted to WBI via their application portal.
    • Applicants successfully selected by WBI must then complete Mitacs’s GRA application documents as instructed by WBI and submit it to them.  WBI provides the application package to the interns.
