Description
Innovation Grants
- Up to six Innovation Grants will be awarded.
- Each grant will be for a total amount of up to $100,000.
- one year of funding with a one-year automatic extension to the authority to use funds
- In addition to these six awards, a seventh award will be offered to the top-ranked application in the competition and will be distinguished by raising the total amount of the grant to $150,000.
- One year of funding with a one-year automatic extension to the authority to use funds
- Eligibility: Any investigator affiliated with an academic research institution or provincial health authority in NL with a responsibility to conduct research. This includes but is not limited to the following disciplines medicine, pharmacy, nursing, social work, science, and engineering.
- Both full-time and part-time faculty members are eligible so long as the position spans the term of the award
- Application package will consist of the following:
- NLHRF Cover page
- 5-page proposal (references do not count towards this page max)
- 1-page budget and budget justification
- letters of support (if needed)
- 5-page biosketch Curriculum Vitae (NLHRF template CV or other similar biosketch template)
