Description

The Panmure House Prize call for submissions is now open – the Panmure House website is accepting submissions from Tuesday 27 February 2024 at 11:00 (BST). The deadline for submissions is 17:00 (BST) onMonday 6 May 2024.

The 2024 Panmure House Prize will award $75,000 (USD) for research on the long-term funding of innovation in the spirit of Adam Smith. The Prize is open to all researchers working on topics related to the practical implementation of long-term thinking in relation to innovation, finance, and social and economic change. We are keenly interested in those whose research looks at the long-term funding of innovation and in those who take interdisciplinary approaches. The Prize is open to submissions from researchers affiliated with institutions worldwide, with preference given to early/mid-career researchers (defined as 3-15 years post completion of PhD).

The recipient of the Prize will be accorded the opportunity to present their research findings at a gathering of the judging panel and other pertinent stakeholders at Panmure House in Edinburgh in 2025. This occasion will offer a platform for the winner’s research to receive coverage in national and international media outlets.
