Description
Global Affairs Canada has launched a call for preliminary proposals – Partnerships for Her Voice, Her Choice – to improve comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), with a focus on women and adolescent girls, in developing countries.
The call seeks initiatives that address comprehensive sexual education; advocacy; reproductive health services and investments in family planning and contraceptives; the prevention of and response to sexual and gender-based violence, including child, early and forced marriage, and female genital mutilation and cutting; and initiatives that support the right to choose safe and legal abortion, as well as access to post-abortion care, including in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
Canadian organizations will have until 12:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 to submit their application. Details about this call, as well as the process to submit an application, are available on the call page.
