Description
The Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network and the Terry Fox Research Institute announce new funding opportunity designed by patients to address key themes in precision oncology.
Researchers from different disciplines across the country are invited to submit applications to this innovative funding program designed by cancer patients, survivors and caregivers from the MOHCCN Patient Working Group.
The Terry Fox Research Institute, through its Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network (MOHCCN), is excited to announce the launch of the Patient Voices in Research Initiative, a new funding opportunity for cancer researchers that has been fully designed by cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.
This initiative will provide a total investment of up to $1 million to help support high-quality cancer research that addresses six critical themes in precision oncology. The themes have been identified by members of the MOHCCN’s Patient Working Group (PWG), a group of 30 cancer patients, survivors and caregivers from across Canada who help guide Network activities. This funding opportunity is open to any Canadian cancer research team.
See website for more information.
Deadline for applications is August 12.
