Description

This RFP’s purpose is to produce research designed to complement current research and to serve as a next step in helping to answer the question of What Does Atlantic Indigenous Economic Reconciliation Look Like. The research activities will include, but are not limited to, reviewing existing literature on Indigenous economic development, strategies, and frameworks with respect to Reconciliation, interviewing Atlantic Indigenous Economic Development Officers, leaders, and or stakeholders as to What Does Atlantic Indigenous Economic Reconciliation Look Like, profiling Atlantic Indigenous economic success stories as well as from outside the region, identifying gaps, and best practices. Finally, based upon the findings, the researcher will make key calls to actions and next steps. All of the work will be specific for Atlantic First Nations. The researcher will be working with an advisory committee in overseeing/guiding the work.
