Memorial Deadline: Inquire with RGCS
External Deadline: Tuesday 6th, March 2018
Description
The pan-Canadian SPOR Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) is a key CIHR initiative under the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research and the Community-Based Primary Health Care Signature Initiative. More information on this Network can be found on the Pan-Canadian SPOR Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations website.
Cross-jurisdictional research can shed light on how variations in policy development and implementation and/or programmatic innovations in health care delivery affect health outcomes. This funding opportunity focuses on two areas: 1) Comparative policy analyses across different provincial/territorial health system contexts and related health outcomes and 2) Comparative analysis of programmatic innovations in health care delivery that could scale to a system level.
This funding opportunity will support cross-jurisdictional projects that respond to one or more of the network priorities, which were determined in consultation with the PIHCI member networks and their stakeholders. These priorities can be found in the Additional Information section.
Applicants must demonstrate how the proposed policy analysis project responds to one or more of the research areas. They must also specify at what policy level (e.g., provincial/territorial, regional, institutional, etc.) the project is focused. Research areas are applicable to all stages of the life course, unless otherwise specified.
Additional program details can be found on CIHR’s website.
