Description

The 2SLGBTQI+ Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub Call for Applications launched on January 23rd. We are looking for a post-secondary academic institution in Canada that has experience with Entrepreneurship and/or the 2SLGBTQI+ community to administer this program.

Briefly, through the Federal Government of Canada a $3,000,000 research fund is available to develop and launch the first-ever 2SLGBTQI+ Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub. CGLCC will be administering this fund to an academic institution in Canada to conduct large-scale qualitative and quantitative research on Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Businesses and Entrepreneurs. We are requesting that the lead institution apply with 2 or more research partners.

(You can read more about the program on the Knowledge Hub’s webpage, which includes the Funding Guidelines, Application Instructions, and a link to the Application Portal, here: https://cglcc.ca/programs/2slgbtqi-entrepreneurship-program/the-knowledge-hub/)

The call for applications will close on March 29th. We hope that your University might be interested in applying for this research fund. If you do have any questions or would like to connect to learn more, please feel free to reach out.

We will also be hosting a Webinar session on February 15th at 1pm EST, which you can register for by clicking HERE.
