Description
On Monday, April 13, 2026, WorkplaceNL will start accepting preliminary proposal applications for the General Research Stream. The general research stream is an annual call for research proposals from qualified researchers. Research proposals must demonstrate a clear focus on the promotion of workplace health and safety.
The Preliminary Proposal Application Guide and Form, plus important program details about eligibility, project funding and duration limits, important dates, funding guidelines and project deliverables are all available here.
Only the form on the web page can be accepted for your application; please do not send WorkplaceNL an application prior to April 13, 2026 or using a different form.
The application window will be open until 4:00pm NST on Friday, May 8, 2026. WorkplaceNL thanks all researchers for their interest in the program, but only completed Preliminary Proposal Application Forms received from eligible researchers within the application window will be considered for invitation to the Full Proposal phase.
Deadline to submit full proposals: July 10, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m., NDST
