Once a researcher has made the decision to seek research funding, they are encouraged to reach out to their respective faculty’s grant facilitators who provide a variety of services to support the research community.
Each faculty may differ slightly as to exactly how they support their respective faculty researchers, the primary services which all faculty grant facilitators include:
- • Identifying funding opportunities and deadlines
- • Communicating internal review deadlines, notices and workshops
- • Other Agency Announcements (i.e. changes to the Tri-Agency policies)
- • Changes in policies and procedures within the faculty and Research Grant & Contracts services
- • Consultation sessions to discuss funding options
- • Comprehensive reviews of written grant applications
