Final Reporting and Project Close-Out Requirements

In the ‘Final Reporting’ phase, activities are completed and a final report is prepared for the relevant project funding sponsor(s) if required. If the research project was contractual in nature, the project deliverable(s) would be provided to the project sponsor(s) at this stage for review and acceptance. Furthermore, depending on the nature of the research project, a number of administrative procedures may have to be carried out to ensure proper close-out of a research project.
